The Captivating Beaches of Masao

Do you want to try a different beach experience? If yes, Masao Beach of Mati City, Davao Oriental is the ideal place for you!The City of Mati is not just the home of Dahican Beach. It also boasts to be the abode of the now-renowned Masao Beaches. Masao Beach is approximately 18 kilometers from Mati Poblacion located at Sitio Masao, Barangay Bobon. It lies all along the tranquil and serene waters of Pujada Bay.
Among the several resorts beautifully erected in the area, Cinco Masao Beach Resort and Gregorio Dita Beach Resort are among the must see.

My friends and I, of course, didn’t miss the chance experiencing this must-try beach adventure. First stop was the Cinco Masao Beach Resort.

Cinco Masao Beach Resort rests atop overlooking Pujada Bay and is being secured with railings that enhance the ambiance of the beach. Stairways are provided for easy going down the beach. Floating Cottages are especially built to suit the preference of the beach goers. Atop are vicious cottages and along with it are facilities like water, toilet and bath, videoke lounge where music lovers could enjoy singing. Convention facilities are also available suitable for meetings, seminars, family reunion and other group gatherings. One can also stay I either air conditioned or non air conditioned rooms.

The second stop was Gregorio Dita Beach Resort.Gregorio Dita Beach Resort is situated just beside Cinco-Masao Beach Resort. It is the only resort in Masao that homes the Philippine Tarsier locally known as "Mago" where one can see this nocturnal creature face to face in captivity. This resort is equipped with open and closed cottages for visitors. It is also ideal venue for meetings and seminars famous of which is the Octagon Cottages on top of the cool and serene waters of Pujada Bay. An island tour to the adjacent Waniban Island is also available by arrangement.
Truly, Mati’s Masao Beach is a beach paradise worth to discover.
